Aurora LIGHTS Saturday Academy (ALSA) is unique opportunity for Aurora Lights Sophomores to explore science and healthcare opportunities.

You will meet for 10 Saturdays in the fall semester and 10 Saturdays in the Spring Semester. If you attend ALSA you will get to participate in the 2012 Denver Metro Regional Science and Engineering Fair. You will be able to choose an area of interest that appeals to you to do you project on. You will get a chance to learn about something you really care about and gain valuable real life skills.

In the Spring Semester you will get to participate in a Kaplan ACT prep Course! Kaplan is well known as a leader in ACT prep. You will get the opportunity to take practice ACT tests to help you be prepared for the ACT.

**This Course is only available to Aurora LIGHTS students in the 10th grade**

  1. Free Kaplan ACT Prep Course (normally $500)
  2. You will get paid once you complete the classes
  3. Guidance and support with your Science Fair Poject
  4. Learn about bioscience, chemistry and math
